CROWBAR protection system is a protection system for the rotor winding of synchronous generators, which is in most cases part of the generator excitation system.

This system is responsible for protecting the overvoltage of the generator rotor coil as well as consuming energy inside the rotor coil.
This equipment is designed and produced according to the customer’s order and the specifications of the generator rotor coil.
