Gas turbine speed and temperature monitors
These units measure turbine speed with a magnetic pickup and temperature with thermocouples. They have threshold relays and analog outputs, and come in several ranges.
RUG-280
Fuel valve controller and start-up ramp generator
The controller sets the turbine’s main fuel valve from speed and temperature (0–50 mA output), and the RUG-280 ramp generator produces the start-up signal.
Contactless position transducer
Measures fuel valve and inlet guide vane position with no mechanical wear. It comes in TCV and NGV types with an intrinsically safe (EEx ib) housing. One version sits inside the guide-vane hydraulic actuator: it works in 60 bar hydraulic oil at high temperature, is fast and accurate enough for position control, and brings its signal out through the actuator wall.
Magnetic speed pickups and turbine speed indicators
Magnetic pickups sense turbine and generator speed, and a digital indicator shows it on the turbine panel.
