Turbine combustion-chamber flame detection unit

Monitors the turbine flame in normal running and during ignition, and trips the turbine through its output relay if the flame is lost. More than 200 units are in service.

• Sensor-to-unit cable of 5 to 15 m, fire-resistant with metal braid
• Operates up to 85 °C in a sealed aluminium housing
• Flame-failure relay output with LED indicator and sensitivity potentiometer
• Metal gland on every entry; the sensor plugs into a socket and is replaced on its own
